Multiplayer Respawn for AI?

Title - is that somehow possible? I'm using the Generic Spawn plane and tried to use it together with planes in the air and static ones.
They worked, but didn't spawn again after they died. Is it somehow possible to let these AI planes spawn again?

(We want to play some longer/larger raids until the enemy base is completly destroyed, so it would be nice to see some new defenders.)
