yes, deleting the original files is safer; the new rar has all files needed.

i have the same trouble with the text entries my solution was i am zoom out the text the plus sighn
 and now with this update my sams are not working

1) you can use the "code" option to input long portions of text; this just hurts to look at; it also won't fit the whole text here, that's why it's included in that pdf
2) I'd like to help you, but "it does not work" does not tell me much :-X so, what did you do, and where does it fail? Can you please share the log?

i know the option with code funktion but im to dumb how this work

i have the sam comlplex about one year and all was fine the sams start and destroy than i make the update with the all period
sams and now nothing work the sam launcher not move they are still no reaction

Are the entries in first post the updated ones yet!? Then it would be easy to copy them. :-|
Need to wait for Wasted to update them whenever he comes back :))

i always read the guide

i read i must have the  right radar for the right sam launcher and p12 radar and communicatin trailer and three generator and transformator trailer

but if i put all radars and all sams with the trailers than must maybe one launcher start or i am wrong ?
 my mistake was ;;never change a running system ;; cest la vie

Yes, they also need to be close together. There is a maximum distance for these.

Hello Koty, I also struggled to get things going yesterday with the latest update but did eventually get some moving. 8)

The early versions, SM-63 types, seemed to only raise slightly at mission start but did nothing further, the SM-90 types did all track and fire.

Once I read parts of the PDF and realised there was a particular way to set things up I had better luck, initially all that would fire were the Strela types
nothing else, I will read further just to see what I have missed in regard to the first five types in the list that seemingly do nothing other than slightly
raise the launcher as it could be they only work in certain specific instances that most likely were not fulfilled in my simple mission against A6 Intruders.

All dependencies are up to date although I had a problem with aircraft fitted with drop tanks crashing the game I cured that by moving one of my
dependencies, there was nothing in the log to give me any idea why some would not work so I will go through the manual fully.

I had tried using the very first link and gradually adding the others you provided but now have the last link on its own and at least have some firing
so when time permits I will delve further into the booklet.

Oh, also check how high your target is flying, there is this thing called minimum engagement altitude.
Also, the old ones take a minute and a half to boot up.
