When using this magnificent map in net/dogfight mode, I have been unable to pin a home base to the new runway next to the city. Is this at all possible ? Or am I doing something wrong ?
Hello greybeard … another possible solution is to use one of the "test runways" from the stationary ships list. I believe that test runways 4 & 5 would work well. You are able to select either red or blue, thus this type of object should work in a dogfight map. Just a thought.  :)

Thanks Dhumphrey will give that a try, though when using those previously I have managed to fall off the edge fairly easily if the terrain is not flat enough, but a good suggestion.

Sorry Greybear, I am not a seasoned modder. I only laid out the runways, I am not up to par on establishing "true home/bases" I have tried. This is a full on objects centric map, I should have specified in the comments. I thought about adding a carrier group, but declined for the sake of load time. I apologize, when I master that skill I'll be sure to include a version 2.

You might try test runway #6 then, this one covers a large area.

Sorry Greybear, I am not a seasoned modder.

Please, nobody needs to know everything:)
We have very few people in the community that would have the abilities in FMB and the will to pull of such a landscape template like you did here. This is extraordinary gameplay content! This is what makes the game so special: The FMB possibilities to create.
Carry on and do not worry :)

Test runway 5 seems to work fine, it can be positioned to give a runway start at both the city airfields , and you can taxy around without any mishap with the edge of the runway, and it take the homebase as well. Very entertaining.
