Dear all,

Extracted straight and fresh from the locked-down ill-fated IL-2 1946 4.14 mod, here are the He-177 and MBR-2 backported to 4.12.2m.
Few (mostly unimportant) things have been stripped down to retain compatibility, one major gimmick (the Schlong!) has been added in return.

Needs: SAS Modact 5.3 + SAS Common Utils 1.10 or later

Extract to #SAS folder.

Add to air.ini:
He-177-A3                   air.HE_177A3                     2 NOINFO  g01   SUMMER
MBR-2-AM-34_gear            air.MBR_2AM34gear                1 NOINFO  r01   SUMMER

Tested with Modact 5.3 only.
Probably works with BAT 3.5 as well (better wait for BAT 3.6 release).
Might or might not work with other game versions, YMMV.

The MBR works fine in my CUP install but the He177 gives me a pink screen and this stuff in my log;

CUP install

Sorry, not supported, we're well beyond CUP for quite some time now.
The only hint I've got at hands is to check whether your CUP already contains the old, "HSFX leaked" He-177.
Look for a line in air.ini like

He-177-A3                   air.HE_177_A3                     2 NOINFO  g01   SUMMER(note the subtle difference, the old 177's classname is "HE_177_A3", the new one is "HE_177A3" without underscore between "7" and "A")
If you have that "old" line, remove it and only use the new one.
Reason is that both old and new models live in the same 3DO folder, but the old classfile cannot get along with the new 3D.
