I'm probably being dumb (!) but exactly where do I drop the 4 files (named #DOF3, #JTW3, #TGA3 and #WAW3 in the download)?  The initial post says 'drop them into your main BAT install' but I'm sure that's not correct.  Do these 'sounds' files replace the 'sounds' files in the #WAW3 folders?

Dont you just put them into their respective  MOD folders???? Ie, #WAW3 goes into #WAW3

Just drop the #DOF3, #TGA3, #WAW3, #JTW folders featured in the ZIP into your main IL-2 1946 installation folder.

Thanks Victor.  I thought - wrongly - that putting a sound mod folder called #DOF3 into a folder in my BAT installation also called #DOF3 would cause problems (overwriting etc!).  Which of course it does not.  Many thanks for you help - and the superb sounds you have added to BAT!

Yes.

If you ever want to get rid of this superb sound mod, just reinstall the last BAT Expansion.

As stated before, the nature of this mod is a simple DROP AND OVERWRITE installation.

Hi Victor and thank you very much.  I have been with il2 since day one when It showed up in the store and have been waiting for these great  sounds ever since.

I am dumb as a rock when it comes to computer stuff and at 79 I am starting to forget also, so I really appreciate when you younger computer types
just start putting stuff together.

now I am patiently waiting for someone to get all the cockpit doors/hoods to open and close properly in one bat update, so I don't have to put little pieces of mods in here and there...I usually screw up those piece by piece installs...

Hi victor. Your sound mod is absolutely superb! I'm loving it 
I have just a little "problem" (if i can define it that way), the sound for the M134 Minigun is very low compared to other weapon sounds; could you turn it up a little in the next version? Everything else works perfectly
Also, small request (feel free to ignore it), could you insert the iconic "howl" of the J79 engine? Some planes like the F-104 and the Avro Vulcan had this unique feature.
