The F-106A used a bigger and badder derivative of the J57, the "J75", fed by new variable-ramp air intakes,
with the more powerful engine providing a significant boost in performance. On 15 December 1959, USAF
Major Joseph Rogers obtained a world speed record of 2,456.78 KPH (1,525.95 MPH) with the F-106A, and it
is said that this remains the fastest flight ever of a single-engine jet aircraft.

The production F-106A "Delta Dart" reached initial operating capability with the ADC in October 1959, with
the type becoming known as the "Six" to crews. A total of 277 F-106As was built, plus 63 "F-106B" tandem-seat
operational conversion trainers, for a total of 340 in all. The USAF / USANG was the only operator.

!!!!!The mod has the following bug, the afterburner has an anomalous behavior in climb and dive, despite several attempts both on the files and with the 3D and the Hooks we were not able to remove it we await suggestions.!!!!!

Same as F-102 (required for this mode), cockpit is from F-86K (a single seat F-106) and T-33 (a two seat F-106B). So, there's no cockpit folder.

Hi everybody,

I spend some time with this legendary airplane and i realized that the mod wasn't finished,  so let's make this beauty even better.

I found few minor bugs ...

Landing bug:

I landed with approximately 280 - 300 km/h, then I reduce the power and hit the brakes. Usually I check controls and aircraft behavior to avoid surprises like with F-104 and reversed commands on nose wheel. And then "SURPRISE" !!! I pulled up the stick at 160 km/h and nose has lifted up ?! It is unlikely for delta wing at this speed, not to mention about weight and landing gear position.

Rear cockpit in F-106B:

This is incorrect cockpit position I think.

"Genie" missile bug:

Missile didn't released from internal bay to start buster engine, actually, it was fired from internal bay and it was flying trough the hull).

I apologize for my criticism, typing errors and bad english  :)

(Tested in 4.12.2m+Jet Era)

Greetings
