So I'm slowly getting back into Il-2 after updating BAT to 3.6. That ended up breaking my game completely, so I am reinstalling everything. While looking at my stored BAT files, I came across something called BAT Expansion Pack. There were twelve parts to this with Part 12 being divided into 4 subparts.

Can someone tell me what this is and do I need it? Or the official expansions already contain the content in these Expansion Packs?

You probably have obsolete versions of the Expansions.

What is the full B.A.T. Install Sequence to this point?
STEP 1 - Il2 4:12m - Install Il2 patched to 4:12m
STEP 2 - B.A.T. Install - Basic Install of B.A.T. (BAT01 to BAT29 + Installer)
STEP 3 - 3.0 Checkpoint Charlie - First Expansion Set (01 to 07 + Installer)
STEP 4 - 3.1 Operation Sealion - Second Expansion Set (01 to 04 + Installer)
STEP 5 - 3.2 Angels High - Third Expansion Set (01 to 03 + Installer)
STEP 6 - 3.3 Pathfinder  - Fourth Expansion Set (01 to 05 + Installer)
STEP 7 - 3.4 Linebacker  - Fifth Expansion Set (01 to 04 + Installer)
STEP 8 - 3.5 Musketeer - Sixth Expansion Set (01 to 04 + Installer)

But whatever you do is fine.

But exactly, this and only this is the current install set to get to the last update. Do not use any old expansions or patches or whatever you might have sitting on your drive for a a long time. It can be outdated.
