Hello Mike, I added this into my 4.12.2 with SAS ModAct 5.30 and all seems good, thank you very much, really appreciated. ;D

My test was rudimentary, rear door opens as mentioned, put on auto started up and took off okay, no obvious issues with my game that I could detect. ;)

As part of resurrecting this mod, I have redone some thinking on doing my own cockpit.
I passed.
I chose a B-29 cockpit as a fill-in instead. Compared to my attempt, I think this works.
Some tweaks, collisions, damage. and a template for skinning she should be ready for an
Alpha 1.

Good choice.
Honestly doing a cockpit from scratch is just as much work as doing the rest of the plane.
For an aircraft that's gonna be flown by AI 99% of times this is probably not worth the hassle, therefore I totally agree with using a stand-in cockpit here.

Great job!!! And I agree with Storebror: a stand-in cockpit will save you a lot of hassle and work, which you can use on other parts of the design instead!
