BAT WAW didn't like it. There was a 70% crash. Here is a link to the log file, as I was unable to post it.

A classic!

Never seen a WWII movie set in France (and not only) without that car! Badly needed in IL-2 ETO.

Thanks Epervier!

Yes, wonderful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A most useful addition to the game!!! I am getting a bit bored at using the GAZ M1 as a sort of generic personal car.

Excellent addition to the game Gabriel, thank you very much, really appreciated. 8)

I converted it to.obj format, but I am still unable to do the transformation on IL2.

You can take the obj file and open it in Blender kpot, from there you can export it as 3DS and that will enable
you to load it into gmax from where you might find the process of converting easier. ;)

Unfortunately with sketch models there are a few issues, first is usually the polygon count and this will need
reducing considerably, notice some faces are missing possibly need flipping, usually a issue of these kind
of conversions:

Scale is another issue, here you can see the size of the object by looking at the box:

Here we see the AviaSkins Gaz for comparison, the Citroen is huge:

The model seems to have retained its colours, however, you will most likely need to map it all
to a tga for IL-2 purposes.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Thank you Pete for your enlightened advice.

The scale is of course the first question I asked and I can't get the answer, what is the scale used in IL2 ??? I could of course edit an IL2 model to compare, but I thought I could find the answer easily.

I will try converting to 3ds max it will be easier. For polygons there are programs or plugins that allow you to do this easily.

And here it is, my limit, for the rest of the transformation on IL2 I really have trouble understanding.

I will review the model;).

Try reducing the scale to 5% - 4,8% approximately.

Un saludo.

Hello again kpot, my gmax program is set to meters, if you get the model open in 3ds Max then you could just make a box to the dimensions of the real vehicle and set it so you can see through it then move the car into that shape and use the scaling tool to make the car fit that, should get you near enough. ;)

I looked at the car again and it does seem that the invisible areas have a face on the opposite side so you can select and flip I would think, that said even though gmax is a very old version of 3ds Max there will be differences.

Blender does give you various options for import and export, play around with them until you find something that works best for your program.

Good luck.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
