So, this may seem like an odd query, but I was wondering why the Re.2005 hasn't been made an official part of BAT yet?

The mod appears to work perfectly fine when added to the WAW module, and considering that a lot of far more obscure Italian aircraft have been added in recent updates, the omission of one of the better fighter aircraft Italy ever made seems a bit odd.

Is it a simple oversight, or is there a specific reason? Just wondering.

Considering the fact that prototype '46 aircraft that have a grand total of 0 completed mock-ups, let alone airframes are in it, I'm gonna guess that no, that's not why.

That’s probably because those are more interesting to players. Re. 2005 would be a great addition - it had a great potential, but Italy is probably not at the top of anyone’s list.

An interesting comparison would be the amount of obscure models of terrible Polish fighters. They were clearly high on someone’s list and they’re not very interesting.

Likely just an oversight (there are a lot of planes out there). Would love to see this made an official part of BAT as well.
