Nice one Eugene, I do like James and his television work but you just reminded me how aged I actually am. :D

The modern day IPMS Nationals have been held at Telford for many years, did not look like those kids had ever been to
the premier  scale modelling event in their home town. ::(

I have a collection of stuff collected over years just gathering dust sadly, I do my building these days in 3D when my pained joints allow. ;)

That interest in making things took me into the engineering industry, I used to help build trains once, real ones that is not plastic, until that part
of British industry became a victim of the global economy.

I guess all kids nowadays want to be programmers for the games industry, well good for them I say, however, I do wonder how they will
develop a interest in building the widgets that fuel economies today and in the future. o_O

Airfix recovery set anyone:

I am still and most likely always will be that model mad kid I was back in the Seventies, sad eh. :P

Take care.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Thank you for that movie. But the tanks are part of a Spitfire story:

Have fun (as I did)!
