Thanks to
Edc2 we now have yet another of my old campaigns moved into the awesomeness of BAT. This time it's this one, "Fire over Darwin", the opposite side of "Darwin Defenders":

The date is March 1942. Japan is triumphant. A sustained air-offensive has been launched against Darwin, on the northern coast of Australia. Between February 1942 and November 1943, during the Pacific War, the Australian mainland, domestic airspace, offshore islands and coastal shipping were attacked at least 97 times by aircraft from the Imperial Japanese Navy and Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. These attacks came in various forms, from large scale raids by heavy bombers, to torpedo attacks on ships, to strafing runs by fighter planes.
"Fire over Darwin" is a semi-historical, 9-mission static campaign, set during the spring and summer of 1942. You are a Japanese Naval fighter pilot flying the famous and feared Mitsubishi A6M2-21 Reisen, or "Zero" as the Allies know it. This campaign covers the spring and summer of 1942, ending in August, when the Japanese bombers due to losses switched to night attacks, and when the news came that the Americans had landed on Guadalcanal, causing new priorities. There is a variety of missions to be performed, including some strafing, but most of them are either escorts or fighter sweeps.
