Battle of Crete 1943
« on: November 22, 2019, 02:35:18 PM »

I admit to having a weakness for Mediterranean and North Africa scenarios.  Started off with an alt-history defense of Crete, then ultimately went with this fictional mission set of Great Britain re-taking the island in 1943.
Player flies the Tempest MkII for the RAF, or the Seafire MkIII for the RN, depending on the mission.  15 single missions, mix of air start and takeoff.  Like some of my previous missions, my goal is to get into action quickly.  I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if you are in the mood to jump into the cockpit and get into some action, then these my be worth a look.

Download the mission set here:
http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=2773

This is for BAT WAW module.  Missions were created using BAT 3.7.2.
Download to the location of your choice, and unzip the file.  Copy and paste the folder "Battle of Crete 1943" to this location:

sounds interesting, many thanks!

However, this is just a set of single missions.

People might expect this to be a campaign and wonder why it does not show up.
It's in the fine print, I know, but only few read this....
Just as a heads up :)

Thanks Vampire Pilot for the clarification.  I should have pointed that out in first sentence of post.

... just a small tip for your future missions ...  ;)

When an AC first waypoint is airstart (NORMFLY) then you can't set Fuel to 100, since take off is very greedy on fuel, because it is when a plane weighs the most (fuel + bombs etc ...) ...  ;)

You should set Fuel according to the loadout and distance and altitude from base, using your "guesstimate" sense ...  ;)
