As Requested by Kurfurst, now back to Jg26 :)



Found at Halle-Nietleben, it was long thought to be a Jg26 machine it was realised that the number style
was not one used by Jg26 but was more that of Jg6 which later is proved by documentation.

Hi Phas3e,
Thanks for your beautiful work. I had a look in Crandall's D-9 book and I find it interesting that he painted the upper part of the side of the fuselage (form the "10" to the rear part of the fuselage) in RLM 75. Interesting isn't it?

Hi

I believe the tonal values from a photos could go either way.
I assume Crandells/Sundin version used 75 as there could have been stocks around to use in the process as the tail end of this aircraft was assembled after the factory painted the rest of the fuselage. I chose to go with 81 for the extra colour :D

Hey Phase  :)

tested your nice skin now and it looks really good.
But what are those symetric holes in the wings good for? Never seen them on other Dora skins before.

Not sure about purpose only that they were there, in photos and tech drawings of the wing.
Admittedly not as pronounced as they are on this template in the past I just did them as black dots,
but they add a bit of flair to the skin having them like this
