Spanish Civil War map in end stages
« on: December 05, 2019, 03:16:53 PM »

Just a preview of a Spanish Civil War map that is nearing completion.

One aspect I am having trouble with is finding info on the location of airfields. Internet searches give nothing useful. If anyone has any info, I'd be grateful. Otherwise I'll have to go with educated guesses and fictitious locations ... and in that case, I know that I'll be corrected afterwards, once the map is finished ... he he

There is a book called 'Five down no glory' by Richard K Smith and R Cargill Hall. On page 142 there is a map of all the principle airfields of both sides in March to April 1937. A similar map can be found on page 100 in 'The Flyers' by Brian Bridgman

The river delta and vineyards look beautiful. Very realistic!

You wouldn't have a scan of those pages perchance? Or the names of the places that would fall in the map area? even general location?
