Actually, it matters of a Bf 109 belonging to Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana, the winged arm of Repubblica Sociale Italiana, the puppet state made in Northern Italy after the fall of Fascism.

Nevertheless, their aviators and ground personnel fought boldly, animated by the patriottic spirit, willing just to defend their homeland. They never wanted, and never did fought against other Italians, like those of Cobelligerent Air Force, which they too choosed to act only against targets in Jugoslavia and the Balkans. Mussolini itself refused to employ bombers, like Piaggio 108, although available, because this should have signified to drop bombs on their own territory of Southern Italy.

This DGen campaign is inspired to those historical happenings.

Only now I realized to have introduced in this version two little files which would require a moddable install, instead of stock, to work. I should have moved the campaign on M4T to "mod" section... The inconvenience is that you will see Italian fascist roundels superimposed to German skeleton crosses on the upper side of Bf 109's wings.

Remedy could be either edit DB files and skin names adding a "$" as first character, or make your install moddable with FreeIL2Modding ModActivator for 4.13.4. This latter will also allow you to fly in a more realistic map environment, about barometric pressure, temperature and sun elevation.
