A couple of questions RE: eMel's JG26s series of campaigns:
« on: December 24, 2019, 08:57:17 PM »

I came across this campaign in M4T; The campaign is broken up into 9 parts so the first thing I was wondering is:
Would my 'record': air vics, medals, rank etc carry over to the next campaign.
Then
Since I'm going to try to use it in BAT how do I go about installing it? Normally, I can just unzip a new campaign into the 'Campaign' folder, into the appropriate Country 'sub folder' but I am guessing with BAT things are different. I tried searching the subject in the forum but nothing 'specific' came up.

Please provide a link for what exactly you talk about

Scratch that, found what you talk about.

Man, I tell you again, you must work on your reading and comprehension of descriptions...

These are not missions, these are only skinpacks.  (great ones though)

(I was confused for a minute, as I know eMel is a skinner, not a mission maker....)

No, that is generally not possible in BAT. One campaign, one line of awards.

You install every user made (scripted)campaign by putting its folder which contains the mis files into the correct country subfolder inside the Campaign folder. For example IL-2 Sturmovik 1946_v412\Missions\Campaign\DE\BoB_Storm_over_England\*.mis

If it's a user made dgen campaign you dont want to install it because it can break the existing campaign easily. Just install the official dgen update for BAT which should have a JG26 dynamic campaign where you can use those skinpacks. In the Dgen folder there are *.db files where you can link the skins to the planes in the subcampaign.

DAMN! When I unzipped the darned thing the only thing I saw was the skins but I was under the impression it was also a series of campaigns.
Oh well...

Then again..given how I'm being utterly fragged to bits in the 'Long Nose Focke Wulf' and 'Abbeville Boys' campaign, I wonder why I bother looking for a LW campaign.
