Unfortunately Zuti's friction mod is not compatible with my 4.13.4 version with SAS Modact 6.4. Helas

I have posted a new actors.static in the first post. This one contains blank plates for the airfields, thereby no long needing Zuti's friction mod. Overwrite the existing actors.static and you should be able to use the airfields properly.

a link to a new actors.static file has been uploaded to the first post. This contains blank plates under all runways.

Dear agracier!
Thank you very much for your new actors files! Now I can use your beautiful maps!!! Great work!!!
There is another your fantastic map named Narvik, which I downloaded a year ago, but cannot use the airfileds due to the same non-smooth runways. There are only two airfields.

That time I did not have any idea why I cannot take off or land on the airfields. I did not delete the map, cause it is very beautiful and have been waiting for the day when someone will help me with the issue. Then I learned what makes the runways be smooth. In this case, may I request you to make those two runways be smooth as well, so that I could use your beautiful Narvik map as well. Sorry for my appetite and thank you very much again!  :)

... not sure, but may be there's a way of fixing that kind of issue, without having to edit the actors.static file ...  ;)

It consists in adding blank transparent plates to the runway, and even any part around, using the FMB and Dr Strangelove's (not the one from SAS) No-Collision Runway 3 mod ...  ;)

The only drawback is that you have to copy/paste the new transparent added planks lines to each and every .mis file ...  :-X

Not sure I can post a link, so you'll find it at FM site, other mods, effects section ... ;)

I'll see if I still have the files for Narvik. I made the map more than 5 years ago.

That's what i was aiming for, attractive and colorful terrain. Something different from the overall green Pacific Islands maps ... Using a white-brown (under) texture for woods was also something of a try-out.

I'm not even sure I still have the working files for the Narvik map. That one is from a long time ago. I'll take a look and see if I can find them somewhere ...

I've been trying out various combinations, recolorings and such to try and make a good marsh texture. Here are a few of my recent trys.

Wondering what others think. It is from the green4 map which I'm also auto-popping and doing some minor changes with textures to get a better look.
