Glenn,

there is no trace of the [Hooks] and [HookLoc] in the Frame or Front mesh files. Please, if you don't have any concrete help to give me, it's better that you don't waste time.

Check in other meshes; if no joy I'll look at my stuff when I get home after work.

Look in Floor.msh. Yeah, strange, eh?

The X, Y and Z values increase left, back and up, respectfully.

My values:
CAMERA ...... 0.205 0.28 0.927
CAMERAAIM ...... 0.205 0.081 0.922
CAMERAUP ...... 0.45 0.23 0.95

But of course this is for my particular sight height and general preferences with my head tracker. You'll likely end up with at least some values rather different to these.

Definitely, the Ki-61 is the result of a perverse fantasy ... :o

I raised everything by 3 cm, more or less as you suggested; less is little, more is too much ...

The real one, for comparison:

Thank you so much, without your help I would never have made it! :-*

How is it going ?

Thanks for asking.

A specific update has been released for some Japanese aircraft:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,47666.msg696753.html#msg696753

while raised gunsights for P-40E,M and Bf 109F,G-6 have been included into latest update of a campaign of mine:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,63193.msg695791.html#msg695791

the reason for this latter choice (that is including mod into a dedicated campaign) is explained in same thread that I linked earlier, quoted here:
"If this kind of modification involves "plane" folder (in addition to "cockpit" one), then liaison with game version and even modpack used is unavoidable."

As a consequence of raising the player's point of view, the angle of the rear view mirror was no longer the right one: I corrected it!

You should unzip the file available at my message whose link I posted above, directly into your #UP# folder, so to read, in that directory:

C:\...\#UP#\00_L-3_Gunsight_P-38J+MirrorFix\

I've not tested it in UP3, but it should work, if there are no other mods affecting P-38 cockpit. Please let us know.

When I try to DL from https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,48839.msg699060.html#msg699060 clicking the green link there I get a blank screen and nothing more happens! Please provide another DLsite.
