Edc1! This time a campaign with motive from the Blitzkrieg of 1940:
This is a 7-mission static campaign portraying the aerial fighting during the Battle for Holland in May 1940. You are a fighter pilot in the Dutch airforce (Luchtvaartafdeling). The Dutch airforce is - like its Belgian counterpart - a small airforce that is only semi-modern. But the modern part of the fleet had been procured and delivered in the last four years. And you are flying the most modern aircraft in the arsenal of the Luchtvaartafdeling, the
Fokker G.1 heavy fighter. The G.1 is a novel twin-engined, twin-boom design with formidable armament (8 x 7.7mm MG's in the nose plus 1 x 7.7mm MG for rear defense) that in performance could match those of the German Bf110. It is none of the real master modders that built it: Ranwers!
You will fly the Fokker G.1 in all missions except one, where you will instead fly the Koolhoven FK.51 light bomber biplane, or perhaps the Fokker C.X. Good luck - because the odds will REALLY be against you, like they were for the Dutch pilots in 1940... There is a random element in most missions: even if you replay the campaign it will probably not turn out exactly the same. (I have also made a number of adjustments, thanks to the better performance of BAT, which allows for a greater unit density, both in the air and on the ground. Note that this one needs
