In this campaign the player will get a chance to capture Japanese aircraft, and airfields, go under cover as a German fighter pilot, and fly with an OSS special operations group code named Rogue Mission.

This campaign uses twelve maps, often some with interlocking territory for game immersion.
In this campaign you will be able to witness the new fighting infantry mods in IL-2. In one of your missions you can witness a major fire fight as common wealth SOE forces, and local resistance storm a prison on Crete to liberate British POWs. You will also get to witness the 505thPIR makes its first Combat drop on Sicily the night before Operation Husky, along with a massive British Glider attack the same night.

This is a pilot's campaign. You will do a lot of flying. There's little in terms of dogfighting but a lot clandestine operations, pretending to be Germans and trying to steal their latest aircraft and some ground attacking... You even get to fly a torpedo attack in a P-38. I never did that before!
It's not historical... or maybe it is and it's just all classified.
