no...I just noted in your zip file that it was zipped up while sitting in the mapmods folder, at least that is what you get when you unzip it keeping the folder structure... shouldn´t such backgrounds rather go into missions\single\... and missions\campaign\... ? I have never put backgrounds into the mapmods folder...
btw I have not used jsgme and never will for IL2;

EDIT: fingers were quicker than the brain....tried it out and the flags now show up :) they look really great as background I have to say...thanks a lot :)

I thought we were talking about screensavers with cats .. read the "mapmods" inattentively ..
With flags, yes, as they are packaged and put them in the mapmods folder, there shouldn't be any problems.

noooo, but recently I have collected quite a nice collection of WW2 pictures of pilots and aircrew with their mascot doggos...
of course it was Johnnie Johnson and Guy Gibson who featured prominently there ....

btw you should maybe check Franz von Werra, who had adopted a pet lion as his mascot....

Well, I really appreciate the information.

As long as you use the

* "#<MOD>3\MAPMODS\Missions\Single\<country_digraph>" or
* "#<MOD>3\MAPMODS\Missions\Campaign\<country_digraph>" folder with a proper background.mat file that has the content:

Are the missions that he builds too heavy?  I mean, if the computer is weak, will it be able to digest the mission?
