Spring of 1943. The Chindits have just started their offensive into Burma. You are a Japanese pilot flying the Mitsubishi Ki-51 "Sonia" (or the Ki-36 "Ida") and your task will be to help stop them, using recce, ground support and bombing missions. This is a semi-historical, 10-mission campaign, set to start in the middle of February 1943, about the time when the Allies launched the so called First Chindit Offensive, striking in a guerilla-like manner across the Chindwin river, through the jungle, to the Irrawaddy, deep into the Japanese rear.
The campaign ends with the coming of the monsoon season in May, which put an end to all serious fighting. You are a pilot in a Japanese Army Dokuritsu Chutai (Independent Squadron), equipped with the
Mitsubishi Ki-51 "Sonia", single engine light bomber. Your task will be recce, ground support and bombing missions. (But with the download also comes a bonus campaign for the
Tachikawa Ki-36 "Ida".)
You can download it here: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=1968Burma had for a long time been treated as a secondary front by the Allied High Command, and had second priority when it came to reinforcements, but even here their strength in the air was growing. But as the most modern enemy equipment was often used elsewhere you still have a fighting chance in your somewhat aged aircraft … If you just make it back to the base in one piece, it will be treated as a successful mission - again as in real life.

BONUS CAMPAIGN: Note that with this download also comes a campaign, using the same scenario, for the Tachikawa Ki-36 "Ida", an aircraft with similar characteristics:
