... my game doesnt even load?

Happened the same to me when using the new EXE "as is"; maybe your system - like mine - can't manage 1024 MB reserved for Java! Try to edit by the Selector, setting RAM usage to 512 MB; for me it worked! I'm now running Carsmaster's EXE by SAS Selector, with the EXE stored into directory indicated by Epervier... Although without noticing any improvement!

... same with me, although I didn't have to change the Selector RAM usage setting, as it was already set to 512 Mb ...  ;)

Game starts as usual, and no obvious improvement at first sight, may be because of my Selector RAM usage setting (512 Mb) since this new EXE is made to set something to 1024 Mb (... or I missed something ...) ...  :-X

Too little feedback at the moment to draw conclusions, unless some java guru gives it a try and then gives his feedback (by the way, very nice countryside pics you posted Mike ...!  :D) ...  ;)

Weird!
I got 1024 in the selector (409/UP2.01 + UV2) !
But I have 12GB of RAM!
I had some interruptions during the flights and they seem to have disappeared !

... THX for the tip, I have 16 Gb of RAM, so I'll try 1024 Mb in the Selector ...  ;)

SOLVED USER ERROR
I misread the instructions and failed to spot the ....baseline/mods, instead placing it in the main selector folder doh!
I notice forests and towns painting quicker for sure but im finding it quite jerky?? I think i had this before and may be due to IL2GE?
BTW, Im using 1024mb in the selector

Hello Carsmaster,
is it possible to increase the number of texture on a map ... It would be cool for maps!

My goodness yes. More texture slots would be more of a boon than using larger sized tiles.  Sometimes i have to trick slots into placing slots reserved for water, onto land anyway. It works but it's clumsy and then in turn reduces water slots ...

Unfortunately, this is not in my power so far.
