That's right, you just need to unzip the archive to the root of the game, then turn on JSGME.

What's the problem? I can share the already configured config. You only need to say the resolution of your screen, and the name of the video card ..

I have for ages the rectangle clouds shadows, even without a Clouds Mod, in plain default NVIDIA Control Panel settings.

MS Vista 32bit 4GB RAM
Nvidia GForce GTS450

No changes, I suspect it related to my Graphic card/system.
I fired up my DBW on my Asus Notebook (inboard graphic) and
remember it was gone.

Did a little analysis .. :)
In all cases, the same config settings and video cards are used.
Tested on 4.12.2, .4.14.1, and BAT ..
This effect is present everywhere ..
He is ghostly .. (disappears when changing the viewing angle to this section ..)
The reason unknown.
Maybe sky textures, maybe cloud textures, maybe shadow settings, maybe something else.
Perhaps in the settings of the video card, or the video card itself)

I changed to Supersampling in Nvidia Settings and higher specs there, have Settings where it is gone.
I get it as soon as I lower Sampling Rate. At 3 highest Specs the effect is gone.
I never run my system that high, so it's time I'll try.

Yupp, exactly...
Supersampling 8x and 32CSSA

If you have Supersampling 4x it's still there, but decreased in occurance, on Multisampling I get Maps splattered with it.

A new version of the x2048 clouds, they are now denser and softer.
And they weigh less :D
