Maybe use the Sunderland instead...Where there really Stranraer a flying boats operating that late in the war from Malta?

The Stranraer wasn't all that good of an aircraft in the first place.

Sunderlands would be much better used here, as they saw action in this battle.

Hey Poltava,

I've downloaded your campaign on my BAT 3.8.3, when I launch it, it starts loading the first intro, loading progresses to 86% and then the game crashes

My BAT installation seems to be fine, since I'm able to launch QMB and other missions

Just finished YOT. 18240 points, 89 air kills, 3 ground kills, 36 losses in 133 missions. Promoted to Oberst. Of the losses I was shot down only 7 times and three of those in the last four missions! About ten losses were from colliding with my wingmen on takeoff and the rest colliding with my targets. My eyesight is not great at present so I look forward to reflying this when it improves or I get new glasses.
Those scores will probably be beaten by the experts but I must say it has been the most enjoyable campaign I have yet flown. Congratulations on a well thought out series of segments with lots of variation in objects, aircraft and mission tasks. There were some nice surprises along the way. I thank you heartily for not having me fly in bad weather as most pilots I know would not have risked it for real. I know in the war needs must but I believe it was rarely done.
The attention to detail is amazing so well done to you and your team for a very immersive campaign.
I could not find a list or record of the kills which is normally in the career line. Was this left out on purpose?
I look forward to the next in the series. Will the scores accumulate or will we start again?

Good to hear about you completing this monster! Yes, it should get tougher as the war progresses, just like in real life ...  ;) But I find your score most impressive. S!

The list of scores etc - No, I haven't touched that one. Sounds strange. Perhaps someone else knows why?  :-|

A continuation? Maybe. I have still a lot of old campaigns to update, and a couple of now ones to build. We'll see!  :D

Hey Poltava, I finally started the campaign and so far (I'm on September '39) it's one of the two absolutely best campaigns I've ever played. It's sooo immersive and just awesome. The one thing that worries me are the 16-plane staffels of bombers instead of the actual 9-plane ones, and I don't know yet if there will be massive air battles i.e. during the battle of Britain, but no other campaign was this pleasant. Ton of a great work, thank you for this stuff!
