Hi all,
im flying my first "original" BAT campaign, as mentioned "the first of many" from the Sealion Patch.
Now i am in Mission 5, there is a Blenheim mission to northern france.
But when i want to start the mission, it tells me "Flight ... is AI only".
Unfortunately its the only flight to choose.
Is this a bug? Or do i need to setup something else?

I fly with BAT 3.8.2

The mission builder might have forgotten to put the player in the plane. Open it up in FMB to check that. You can also make your player a member of an RAF squadron in Properties. Set any other planes to None in properties.

Hi David,
thanks for your response.

I tried that now. Opened Mission 5 in the Mission Editor.
I clicked my aircraft, view, objects.

Player aircraft is ticked,
"AI only" is unticked.
I changed both, then back, saved the mission.

I still can not start the mission with the message "Flight 501...blabla is for AI only"

How you mean i dont fly with 3.8.2?

These kind of messages no longer exist in v3.8.2.

Hmmm, that would be an evidence!
I downloaded updates 3.8.1 and 3.8.2 when they were released - im asking myself now if i forgot to execute the updates?

I will try and give feedback, thanks for the hint.

But on the Load Screen there is always only "v3.8" - correct?

Then i installed both patches already earlier - but into the wrong folders.

Which exactly is the BAT folder that has to be targeted?
Is it not the Sturmovik1946 folder?

There are around 10 subfolders that begin with "bat..."

Ok, its solved.

I extracted both patches to a test-folder and recognized the IL2Sturmovik subfolders.
I copied the new files then from the test-folder to the sturmovik folder.

Result: Loading screen shows 3.8.2 and i can start the mission.

What i still dont understand: When i downloaded the patches and executed the extracting process and then choose the sturmovik folder - something happened but it did not extract and overwrite the file. I did not recognize that, basically nothing seems to have happened.
Thats strange. Not the first patch i installed in the last 20 years... *scratching my head*

Nevertheless, thanks for support, i can continue this campaign now!
