Hi Nero,
thanks for the suggest but I cannot find any fix about Rolland D II gunsight in the WWI plane section.
Also in the cockpit section I cannot find anything... maybe I'm blind... ;D

Maybe in the new 3.8.3 version could be included since the spad XIII gunsight corrections are included. If that will not work I will post another link from another forum or I ll send you my version via mail no problem. I love the Roland both the d and the c, and the pfalz too. I would hadbit under Christmas when I was playing a central powers career. Now I m doing an allied career mainly on the western front and Caucasian/persian too (not only my campaign posted here but also the other for dbw 1916 it was in the caucasus. I converted this campaign and the caproni bomber 1915-17 campaign too for work with bat, together with a couple of Russian civil war campaigns for dbw 1916 as 47th squadron, translating it from Russian sometime too. Badly ofc, but understandable and playable. Acceptable.. 😂 The new tool to unlock the missions in the mission pro combo is very useful for converted campaigns, it allow you to play also other mod s campaigns just with some adjustment, usually some ground troop or object.) so now I m not playing that but I tested it and seem very good especially the Macedonian front missions, (I like long missions. I don't like to take off, and land after 10 minutes.). So now I m playing these Russian and Romanian campaigns (the last is of David btw) for that I didn't played much that, only started the missions and flied a lot for look if all was ok. Great work love the pfalz, his separate machine guns fire, (but I love more the fokkers and all the planes with rotary engine and the magneto 😂 pity many of these planes in the game have the throttle as the Nieuports and the morane saulnier, also the pfalz a and e was rotary. The dreamk orient is red had a rotary engine mod adjustment but with these new versions is not compatible, only the ansaldo is playable fine.

Couldn't find a thing about a gunsight fix for the Roland DII. If such a mod exists and someone has a link, please post it.
Also, is there any info on the SAS board about the Pfalz D III project?

Yeah, the problem is that of those in the list only the camel, the swallow, together with the eindecker and few others have the magneto system. The others have the throttle unfortunately. 😅 The magneto system is more difficult to fly, I also don't like that for the Ww1 model we must disable the overheat engine, and other options. This make the camel and other planes (historically very difficult to fly, with the camel many pilots died in training for stall flying it, it was routine the early times...) much more easy to fly.

Trough I like more bat since there are more campaigns, I found that in dbw 1916 (played it the last year before trying bat) both the flight Ww1 system and the damage model are a little bit more realistic. The camel is a elephant for the beginners, it stall easily if you pull too hard, once you learned how to fly it it a ok, other planes too are more realistic since you must not disable the options of the engine and of the flight system, 3 options engine overheat and other 2, and the damage model too, in some plane like the Nieuport 11 1 bullet that hit your engine in the wrong place and you re ablaze. Also the dogfight is much more harder, the ai is very smart there. I couldn't stand a single campaign there with fighters it was very difficult for me. (I m a bomber pilot. Indeed I played only caproni bombers with Italy and 2 seaters with the others so I m not very expert in the fighter flight.). I hope soon or later bat could absorbe this damage model.

Can I just say it is nice to have a new DOF enthusiast, especially one who is doing campaigns as well. I sometimes feel that DOF lies in the shadow of other eras, particularly WAW (obviously).

Not as far as I'm concerned. FE2d campaign, and another Pfalz campaign coming up.
