HSFX 7.0.3 IL2 1.12.2 - Toe brakes problem
« on: April 30, 2020, 01:40:54 AM »

Using IL2 1946 Steam version with 4.12.2 beta option.
Mods enabled: HSFX history mod and Hakenkreuz enabler

Tried using the "old version" but still doesn't show left and right toe brakes.
I've concluded that it has something to do with HSFX.

Please help!

I'm using HSFX too (History  mod, expert mode, NGHUD, Carrier Crew) but I don't believe there were ever "toe" brakes in the controls section of either HSFX or stock.  There is "wheel brakes" (I use the B key) and in the HOTAS section "brakes" (set to my rudder pedals).  I believe in both cases it is simply "brakes" (i.e. no right brake and left brake, just....brakes) NOTE:  IL2 (unless there's been a mod) doesn't have 'toe' brakes.  I can use my Thrustmaster rudder pedal toe brake however it is only one side of the rudder pedal and it applies to the "whole" brakes if you get my meaning.
In other words setting the HOTAS 'brakes' control in the game to the TM rudder pedal doesn't assign a brake to each pedal  (i.e. left and right brake) it simply assigns "brakes" to a pedal of my choice.  So when I apply my right toe brake with my foot I'm actually getting all brakes and I have to still steer with the rudder pedals.

I'm not sure I articulated that clearly but hopefully you get what I mean.

Thanks for explaining.

To add, I’ve played latest version of Il2 1946 on steam. It seems to have the designated toe brakes included in the settings. I guess I’ll have to put up with it.

Thank you for replying  :) ]thumbsup[
