This is a semi-historical, 13-mission static campaign, set during the Summer and Autumn of 1941. You are Finnish Fighter Pilot in LeLv30, flying the Hurricane I, later you will switch to LeLev 32, flying the Curtiss Hawk. For now the task of your unit is to protect the southern parts of Finland from enemy incursions. Also you must help to keep an eye on the Soviet fortified enclave at the small peninsula of Hanko - they have their own air units there. The campaign uses Kapteenis very nice Finland map!
In the Moscow Peace Treaty that ended the Winter War on March 6, 1940, Hanko was leased to the Soviet Union as a military base for a period of 30 years. The Russians have since turned it into a fortified base, guarding the entrance to the Finnish Bay. The campaign follows the Siege of the Soviet base at Hanko, from the start of the War in the Summer of 1941, until it fell in December the same year.
