The adventure of Willy Jedermann begins....

This is a remake of the old 32 mission LWP campaign by FlatSpinMan!
Originally made in 2006 with what little was available back then to depict the era 1937, 1938.

This campaign, set from 1937 to 1938, follows the path of a promising young Luftwaffe pilot. It moves from advanced fighter-pilot training through to service in the Spanish Civil War as a volunteer in the Condor Legion fighting AGAINST the forces of Democ

The player begins as a trainee in the Heinkel-50 (CR-42) before moving on to the Henschel-123(also the CR-42!) and then, for the majority of the campaign, the BF109E.
The Spanish Civil War involved a large variety of aircraft types. the Luftwaffe was also trialling a number of different designs at this time so in this campaign you will encounter a huge array of aircraft, targets and mission types. Be ready for anything, at anytime!

All the briefings are FlatSpinMan's originals.

I have remade all the missions in Spain, placed on actual Spain maps. No more "Sevastopol is Barcelona". I have made use of modded aircraft now available, such as He-51 and early Bf-109s, I-15s and Dewoitines.... Relive the first tale of Willy Jederman from his training in the skies over Berlin, his station with boring border patrol to the Legion Kondor in 1938!

The narrative is fun and not always completely historical (sometimes quite hysterical). It was one of the campaigns that made me stick to the game like glue because it was an actual little adventure, the best a scripted campaign can offer.

In 2011 I already released a slightly modded version, back then with FlatSpinMan's consent. I feel confident he would not mind this one either if he was around today.

- It plays in the TGA module in the Spanish Nationalist folder
- select highest rank
- set No Instant Success to OFF

Great job and thanks a lot! I hope the Willi Heilmann adventures will continue with the other great campaigns by FlatSpinMan

btw, may I suggest to rewrite the nation structure in TGA module a little bit?
it is so geared towards SCW scenarios but it could be built more logically and more structured...
maybe not a bad idea for other campaigns that fall into this timeframe

Likewise, these campaigns by flatspinman got me hooked on this sim,also all of his tutorials on making campaigns.
Played all the originals many times in those early days as there was little to compare with them.

So a big thank you for revivng Willy Jederman and hopefully the other campaigns can be revived as well.

Yes, lovely idea - THANKS! And there is a certain logic to it, connected to the whole modding project as such. Modding the game, not least by updating the component parts, keeps it alive. And updating old campaign, especially old oldies but goldies like this one, is part of that process.

I feel I ought to do the same, take some old, outdated but really good campaign done by someone else and then left behind, and update it!
