On a Mymap_c, I draw a kind of a canal, 45° oriented, rgb 0 with a 3px brush, hardness 0.50
The red grid is 32x32.
The size of the map : 12096 x 9600 (multiple of 32).
After one pass in map_c toolbox that gives, in the FMB :
The two red circles show two visual defects, corresponding to the 32x32 grid.
Back to the map_c, I cut one of the suspected segment, along the grid :
And after a few manip that I won't describe because it's not the purpose, I paste it such as it is shifted
1px to the L and
1 px to the bottom
Of course I did so that there is no holes.
Notice that I use no blur, no rubber, only cut copy and paste. The pattern is exactly the same, so are the rgb values:
I repeat the same procedure for the second segment :
And here we are :
No defect anymore, the canal is straight and unbroken :
I tear one's hair out for monthes with that.
I thought it was one of those bugs from that good old Il-2 until I've found that thread:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=11908.0I'm now firmly convinced there's something wrong with map_c toolbox, perhaps more related to the table than to the picture itself.
I'm convinced too that it is responsible of many visual bugs people report : black lines, tiles and so on
Could someone with programming skill have a look at this ?
map_c toolbox is a wonderfull tool. Without it, no map can be made. But if it could be corrected it would be just ... perfect
