This is a semi-historical, 9-mission static campaign, set in the Spanish Civil War during the two first months of 1937. You are a pilot in a Republican squadron, flying the Russian Polikarpov I-15 fighter, nicknamed "Chato". (In one mission you will fly the Farman F.291, and in the last one the Dewoitine 510.) After the failure of the Nationalists to capture Madrid and the Republican counterattack at the Battle of the Corunna Road, the Nationalists are seeking to regain the initiative. Command & Control Mod with a number of randomizers, which means that many times the time of day and the weather, the skill and composition of the opposition will vary, even if you replay the same mission!
Note that this is what I a call a "basic conversion" to BAT. Everything works 100%, but there is no "taxi-to-takeoff". (I will do that too, eventually. But right now I have started working on a couple brand NEW campaigns, so I've taken this short-cut.)
