Hello Mixx, thank you very much for the kind words, really appreciated. 8)

From talks with the consultants responsible for my care it seems I am forever to now suffer the condition, best I can do is contiuue with the light physiotherapy exercises I do regularly through the day to help the muscles and tendons around the problem areas, however, that does not actually improve those problem areas, the pain will always need to be managed as they say, basically when things start to pain more intensely I stop. :(

Trouble is that can mean it is hours before I can do anything meaningful such as my project or work around the home, things are done in stages through
the day. ::(

It is what it is, so get along with it I must it seems, using a mouse or typing are a real pain.

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

At least it sounds as though you are able to enjoy the work  that you can manage. I hope that is the case. For what it is worth,  I and many others will be enjoying your accomplishments for many years to come. The Lysander, the Thorneycroft Amazon,  the Armenian churches,  and all of your creations are greatly valued in the community.

Hello vonofterdingen, thank you very much for the kind words, really appreciated. 8)

I do enjoy working on these projects for IL-2 and it is certainly pleasing to know you and others like and appreciate what I do, makes it worth while in many ways, it gives me the impetus to actually take something on right now but if others enjoy the work then you hope it also helps them in some way either to use mine and the builds of other modders or just as inspiration for their own day, any work of art is always better in the public gaze irrespective of how good or bad because it helps all of us to see the world we live in and gain a little something from it, such is the beauty of this community while the theme of the game is warfare it also shows the artistic side of the many members we have and gives them a chance to share their talents with others. ;)

What I do not enjoy is the pain and discomfort taking me away from what I am doing or want to do, not just the mods but life stuff in general, however, that is the way it is now going forward so I try and find what positives I can to keep me going and at least enjoying what little I do get done as much as I am able.

Making the 3d models is like a extension of my life long hobby of building plastic models, something I no longer do sadly but with IL-2 I can have as many as I want stored in the P.C. and I can apply all the camouflage schemes I ever wanted as well as fly them on any continent, best of all it means less plastic to dust on the shelves or repair when other folks and me break them. :D

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

No problem vonofterdingen, I have had to train myself to put the hobby work down, difficult for someone always used to making
things but nothing is worth the pain I assure you. ;)

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

YOU must take care, Pete! We really deplore that you can't contribute to the community as you have for such a long time, but what I think all of us really deplore is how you are treated.

Hang in there, and be careful!

Thank you very much for the kind words of support Peter, really appreciated from you and others it helps a lot. 8)

We never know just how or when the body will go beyond the point of no return, sadly the world we live in is all about numbers
with employers constantly downsizing business leaving fewer of us to do more and more of the work with seemingly no respite, it
takes a toll, unfortunately those always demanding more are not the ones who ultimately suffer chronic and debilitating illness that
effectively denies us what we worked towards all our lives, I am well short of retirement age with no idea where I go from here,
pensions frozen where they were when my working life was blighted.

I never understood why some want to continue way past their retirement age, if you get there, get out and enjoy what you have,
any amount of money will not give you back your health ever, I feel for the youth now, and even sportsmen and women, all pushing their
bodies more than they should, it is like we returned to the eighteenth century in many respects, employers seemingly able to do what they
want with impunity while the sick are abandoned to their fate, take those tea breaks guys and those holidays, even our unions do not give
a fuck either it seems.

When I returned to work in 2014 after a operation it was only one of three issues, go back and carry on was the recommendation, you
have a occupational health department, they will know how to look after you, really!  Twelve months later I could go no further due to
the pain, your colleagues cannot cover all you cannot do, your supervisor will tell you to go off sick if you cannot keep up, sound familiar guys?

I looked for alternate work, internal and external, thing is we are loath to leave pensions and long service behind if we do not need to, however,
this takes time and my multiple pathology just got worse and so here I am, Fu.B.A.R.  ::(

The way accounting is done in hospitals here also hinders, once over a surgeon would look at the overall problem in a certain area, now they are
only allowed to deal specifically with what you were referred for, not always easy as in my case there were multiple issues all aggravating each other,
so while the consultants work on the one issue they think is the problem the rest just deteriorates due to time as you go round and round in circles
like a dog chasing its tail to different specialists through the various hospital departments. o_O

Anyway, it is what it is, not going to change is it no matter how much I bitch and cry, so live with it I must. ;)

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
