:) Great choice  Asheshouse ! How nice to see you creative again! I take this opportunity to ask if anyone remembers if there is a mod to double the length of the wake of the ships, it would also be nice to widen the wake of the larger ships by at least 50% ....

If you look in the Hooks section in the *.msh files you will find _Centre, _Left, _Right, and _Props.

If you change the matrices for these Hooks (just text edit in the msh file), then you will find the wakes will change.

I have not yet worked out exactly how they inter relate, but there is some complex relationship between the hooks.

This thread just caught my eye, nice models.

I've always had an interest in the battle of Jutland and the ensuing controversies. Its shocking how quickly some of these huge dreadnoughts were sunk and the many lives that were lost in an instant. I came across this site a while back where you can download the demo of the Battle of Jutland game. I thought this might be of interest to you .
http://www.worthdownloading.com/download.php?gid=3829&id=23892 I haven't tried this myself yet.

Bought that game. Not used it for a long time. NWS Steam and Iron is better IMO. https://nws-online.proboards.com/board/4/steam-iron-sai

Graphics are old school but playability is great.

Agreed. 'Rule the Waves', which is based on the same combat engine but allows for ship design and fleet building, is also very immersive. There is now a carrier/aircraft version, too. Not played that.

It's early access at the moment. I played 'ultimate general civil war' and that was very good, so this would be worth a try.

Black Swan Class Escort Sloop - A total of 37 were built between 1939 and 45. Model imported from WoWS.
Armament to be enabled and collision boxes still to be created.

Nice, ashe. You already know my opinion - although the big battlewagons are great to see, it is the smaller workhorses that are often more useful in Il2 missions (just like in real life, in fact).

I think there is a great need for both. Recreations of large fleet actions never look right without appropriate ship classes to represent the large vessels. This is particularly true of the PTO scenarios. The stock game with a British battleship serving as a generic capital ship in the USN and IJN was pretty poor in this respect.
