The very low after deck was a feature designed to facilitate launching of seaplanes, with access to the main hanger by a large roller shutter door.
The only aircraft embarked during WWII were Swordfish Mk1 of 814 Naval Air Squadron.

Interesting mini-guide here

Project is delayed at present pending reolution of problems with the flight deck shadows.
Real life work is getting in the way too.

Problem solved. Turned out to be very simple, but taken me a week of messing around to resolve.

Need to add some shadow meshes to the side of the bridge structure to catch the aircraft shadows as they pass by, then add some shadows to the LOD1 meshes, then its done.

Maybe complete this weekend if all is well.

HMS Sheffield ?
It's HMS Nelson, the catapult is mounted on "C" turret.

A small project. The Royal Navy N48 Minesweeper, former Medway Queen Paddle Steamer. Model sourced from WoWS.

Main AA armament is a 3in 12pdr on the bow. I have added a couple of twin Lewis machine guns mounted over the paddles to provide some protection to the stern.
