Your advice about the vehicle convoys was really good, it added a little more compatibility with DBW campaigns.

That is most welcome!

Head tracking works fine in all Il-2 versions since 4.10 (? -- err, since a long ago). I use head tracking with the same settings for stock game, BAT, VPMOD, HSFX, etc. VisualMod is optional, it enhances your experience, but it's not compulsory for head tracking. Once head tracking is set up to your liking, you can use the hat switch for other functions.

Seems like a cockpit file went walkabout or something. (Still learning how to read this thing.)

I tried adding the D520 to the VP pack, but it caused a 70% CTD. I deleted it and added the 4.09  version of this aircraft and it seems to be working well.........Very strange since the D520 for 4.12  works in my 4.12.2 5.30 AI 5.30 folder......What ever it takes....I will have to be careful if another VP update reacts badly with this 4.09 aircraft.

No future update will affect the extra aircraft you're now adding to your install. If there will be a next patch it will only have updates to the already included maps/textures/default skins/etc. My only advice is to make a backup of a clean vp modpack or at least th #SAS folder before you start modding it.

Your last post is very welcome since I am one of those who cannot resist adding stuff and I have added several new planes. When it comes to making a backup, my policy is to keep the original download of the various parts. Then, if you screw up you can simply delete and re-install in a flash. It's quicker than copying 40 gig of game.

Incidentally I think this modpack is the best thing ever.

Thanks.......I have a "back up" Clean VP Modded Folder, and a back up clean B.A.T., along with a bunch of others (4.12.2m, 4.13.3, including an unlocked UP3.0RC4 that I use for messing around with maps.

MR_G I'm pretty sure there's a D520 in the Blitzkrieg addon. (It's JSGME activated too for ease of use)

Hi, well this VPModpack has made the game look the best I've ever seen it and I have been using it for months with no problem.....until today. Playing the first mission in the 4.12 BOB40 Campaign designed for VPModpack I was on my way back to France after a long flight and dogfight when I got a CTD. Here is my Logfile. Could anyone help please?
