Sorry, but I dont have any more advice I could give. I'm still on Win7, since I only play IL-2 1946.
By trying SAS modact 5.3, you could at least narrow down the source of the problem.

Hi guys.

First, thanks for this awesome modpack vpmedia, it's a great gift for the comunity.

I don't know if it's only with me but, after following all the instructions, step by step, I was unable to fly with the La-5 and La-7 familly. When I selected them and went to the loudout screen, the game freezes, and if I choose one of them to fly, when the game is loaded, I only get the horizon on the screen, the cockpit and the plane are not loaded at all.

Is there anybody in the same situation?

Thanks

Replace the files samples/key_01.wav, key_02.wav.

No problem ;)
I play BOS/BOM, CLODO, DCS and I am new on Il2 1946. I want to play it just for fun and pacific battle.
HSFX 7.0.3 is already good for my use.

I tested landings on aircraft carriers. It's not simple !!

Good flight !!

Removing will just revert them to stock. You need to replace them with a new sample. I'm pretty sure that you can dig up some button sounds on the world wide web. ;)

The error log is called log.lst by default, you need to enable it via conf.ini (LOG=1).
