I am delighted to hear no major additions to the modpack are envisaged. I have added lots of content to satisfy my own personal preferences and any major change would involve me taking it all out (or most of it) and then putting it back again. I love it just the way it is and minor changes to aircraft skins are no trouble.

Thanks Airbourne! I try to think about usability and user-friendliness when I'm doing something. I did not do any major changes in the ini files since a long time. I think from the 16 patches (I call it patch according to il-2 traditions but most of it wasnt a bugfix, but improved textures) only the first 4-5 had entries which would interfere with previously added mods.

Hi all, I have a question

I just installed you mod from scratch on a "clean" IL2-1946 and follow instrusctions

in installed everything included Patches and paintscheme patch

now in my first test with the missions, when i tried the bf-109 N1, it start with the plane exploding; is there something to do to play that mission ?

Hi Vp. I have been playing this mod for 5 days straight. They have been really great and I am enjoying it. As it is, the game works comfortably and not too much loaded and heavy. I have a few suggestions which I believed it could make the mod better:
a) How about inserting 3d fixes of engine cowlings, cockpits, spinners and planes in general? I have been browsing in this website and there are alot, but the planes would look much more beautiful.
b) Some new music and backgrounds.
c) My last suggestion would be keep up the good work  ;D

Thanks

Thanks!

There's a folder inside #SAS called #00_3Dfix Cowlings Engines props 4.12, that has the 3d fixes.

New menu backgrounds are here:

Are they activated? I asked so because I know there is a corrected model for the Mig-3 but in VP mod there is not. Any guidance in how to do it myself would be greatly appreciated :)

The Mig-3 has a completely new 3d made by the russian Aviaskins site members ( https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=13907.0 ). Unfortunately its not compatible with the old skins, so i did not included it. Same goes for the Japancat A6M Zero upgrade.

Hi very good mod

I started the RAF-Spitfire *Fighter Normandy 41 campaign and I noticed that the in the interphone communications between pilots there is a mix of English and Russian language (i use English version of the game); how can i solve that

another question ... is there a way to increase the plane engine sound volume (I mean on external view , where I am already at the maximum volume of my speakers but with other il2 configurations the volume is louder) ) reducing slightly (in comparison) the volume of human communication volume ?
