It would take years to test every dgen campaign, so I only tested ~10%.

I am going to start a new campaign. .. may you please tell me which you already tested. I will use your  new dgen

Again, thank you for your mod

To DavidH. The La-7 was a fantastic prop fighter. Could hold its own against anything in its time.Especially at proper altitude.Several kills were also made against the Me-262 for example. Helped turn the tide of air combat against the Luftwaffe along with the Yak fighters. Could be a little bias but they also perform well in CFS3.I prefer the 1% aircraft available for CFS3 and only wish there was such a system available for Il-2 '46. VP modpack does a good job at modeling aircraft performance though. Regards Scott

Uninstall SAS engine mod or delete CTO and FXEvolution effects mod from #SAS.

All stock plane FM's like the Lavochkins are from the original game, completely untouched. I did not change any flight models.

That is good news vpmedia as the La series is close to what it needs to be. Find the flight models in Il-2 '46 to be pretty good overall.Regards,Scott

Yes and no.
Excellent characteristics for 1944 - on paper. Significant upgrade of La-5 family. Loved by pilots who could (at last) outperform the enemy in climb and to change their tactic accordingly. But too many engine failures and airframe defects and incidents of overheated engines during the climb. Limited dive speed. Sub-standard avionics. Terrible cockpit ventilation. Later production units (as of early 1945) were slower by 20-30 km/h.
One Me 262 kill was recorded (Kozhedub/Titarenko).
La-7 was very good in hands of aces as Kozhedub. But it did not turn the tide as they represented small percentage of the first line fighters: under 10% in Jan 1945 and probably around 20% in early May 1945.

I think the maps IJ_Sakishima and IJ_Palembang are included with vpModpack but the All.ini file in my original install of the vpmodpack does not have the maps listed.

I have re-textured both maps and have new Load.ini files added to my install.
But, I had to add lines to the All.ini file.
Interestingly, the maps load fine.

Is it just me?  or is this how it is in the vpmodpack download?

There are two all.ini files. Iirc the standard all.ini has around 200 maps, all of which were adjusted/reworked by me. The secondary all.ini has ~350 maps, which means that 150 maps still need work. This is because I decided that the standard all.ini should only showcase the very best 200 maps. Its easy to activate the extended all.ini with 350 maps if you want everything. Personally 200 maps are more than enough for me to do mission building. This doesnt mean that everything that is not included is bad, I'm pretty sure that I missed a few good maps. You need to understand that originally I've build this pack only for myself, I only released it because I saw that there wass a lack of easy to use and (more or less) bug-free modpacks for 4.12.

Thanks for the reply.  I totally understand the reasoning.
I was just surprised that all I needed to activate the map was to add lines to the all.ini file.  :o very cool.

I’m running under VP Modpack (Skinpack+Patch new#2) + some aircrafts (F4U-1, early P-38, B-25D & J)
Thanks for this great work VPmedia.

A question, I have noted that the artificial horizon of the P-47D-10 & 22 doesn’t work?

Formerly, I played under UP3 RC4 (4.10.1m) and I don’t remember having this issue? (Sorry if this subject has been already raised and/or addressed)
