My advice is that if you want jets get BAT. It's the most complete and uptodate collection of jets. Trying to turn vpmodpack into a jet addon is difficult as you can see.

                Hi Sixstrings. Don't really know of a BOB add on per se, but I've installed a Spitfire campaign called "Fighter Boys" which takes place during the BOB. You could search the "Campaign" section on this site, or you could visit the Mission4Today site where there is a bunch of various campaigns and other great stuff! ;)

It is too bad that MONTY'S CAMPAIGNS: - THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN is going to be for BAT only from now on. Not sure what the deal with the WW2 BAT mod but I get terrible frame rates. The Jet Era is fine. VP Modpack runs so much faster and to me it looks great. I wish someone would go in and optimize BAT.

WW2 as MONTY'S CAMPAIGNS: - THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN would be great to play at a higher framerate.
