Happy new year to you too!

You need to add this mod, Boeing B-29 Silverplate Atomic Bomber (v1.2):

when you have (successfully) installed the Silverplate you can also try to add
this great mod by PAL "Radar for B-29SP (AN/APQ-13)":

Hello All,

I'm using the following version: 4.12.2m / with VPMod/SAS Modact v5.30

I've installed the latest version of the B-29 Silverplate mod.

I get this error "ONLY" after loading one or the other atomic bombs, Fatman or Little Boy:

"IL-2 6Dof/TlR enabled executable for modded IL-2 Sturmovik stopped working"

This error occurs at 30%, "aircraft loading"

The simulator runs as advertised when the following load-out is selected: default or empty

I've read this entire thread, all 9 pages, and this error has been hit on before, however there has been no reply as to how to actually correct the problem.

I have seen this post:

Hello hertzoflar,

start the Windows Task Manager/ Process... and stop/ end the "IL-2 6Dof/TlR enabled executable..."!

Start your game again.

If you get the same error massage again:

Start the...: IL-2 Selector.exe!

Make sure your "RAM usage" is not more than 512 MB.

Regards, Gerhard

However I'm running Windows 10 as my operating system (new Dell computer) and the Task Manager does not have IL-2 6Dof/TlR as an option to end in the list of processes.

I know that the B-29 mod is working for some of you ... so any help on how to correct this issue would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

As the risk of sounding like a complete jerk...

You had a working version of the VPModpack, you decided to add a nuclear weapon to it, and now it does not work. The solution is simple - GET RID OF THE NUCLEAR WEAPON MOD! Yes, it will make a big BOOM, but what is the point?

Needed for the last mission of a campaign that I've built - 22 missions  :)

Hello, after installing the two patches for VP Modpack, I'm having trouble with the (Generic ETO) RAF 1939-1945 campaign.
I followed all the instructions for the patches, but now the campaign won't start. Clicking "start" just takes me back to the main menu.
Other campaigns appear to work fine. It's kind of annoying, as BoB is what I'm mostly playing.

That was a problem campaign in the pack, but iirc we have fixed it or at least I got the report back that all campaigns generated successfully. Can you post the contents of your dgen_error.log file? It's in the games root directory.

I tested it and it's not working for me either. Somekind of a classfile conflict. I'd try deactivating #SAS/!!00_0_FXEvolution_v4.12 and adding the latest SAS Engine mod 2.8. If it doesnt work run classcheck.exe and start deactivating the conflicting mods.  Make a backup of your working game before start experimenting.

Strangely enough, no log appears to have been generated for any of the attempts.
If it helps, it doesn't even take me to the subcampaign selection, simply clicking on "start" from the campaign selection screen takes me back to menu.

Put this file into your Dgen folder, overwrite existing one:
https://www.ulozto.net/!N92yB2VKo0ML/planesgbx-dat

Keep in mind that the stock campaign engine of the game is limited to maps which are from the original game, mod maps or airplanes are not being supported. The only reason I included these semi realistic west front campaigns is because they were part of a larger dgen patch. You can try Asuras modded dgen or Lowengrins DCG as alternative campaign generators, those support mods.

I'm glad it worked. Btw I uploaded recently some BOB campaigns I had collected during the past few years and which are most likely compatible with this modpack:
