Hello VP modpack users The other day on steam i got an update 4.13.4 and now VP modpack wont work : (, Is anyone else having this issue.

If you prefer the older version 4.12.2 for some reason, you can revert to it (go to the Betas tab in the Steam properties of the game and select version 4_12_2 in the drop-down list). rolls it back to 4_12_2 for mod to work or just stop the update then do this.

You can run any game/modpack version in perfect mode. The only thing you need to do so is a dedicated graphics card. The first post has a link to the conf.ini guide and the install guide has a conf.ini sample.

Thanks VP Got a dedeciated card just to run IL-2 Geforce GTX 1050..I'll go look over the first post..I have BAT running in perfect mode but forgot what setting I changed...

  Changed opengl hardware shaders=1 but still can't get perfect mode guess I'll settle for what I have but the water has green hues to it and BAT dosen't..

JG51_ruski: Hi. Open your control NVidia geforce Panel in windows, Add il2fb.exe( or how the exe is called ) to that gpu control panel, set Antialiasing to at least 2x, AFiltering to 2x at least and save it.

   Thank you for the help..I had troubles setting aa and Ansio just for IL-2 so went and set it for global...went in and terrain is set to perfrct...and the green color bleed I was getting on the water is gone and the water well it looks like water with sunlight reflections...Ran the Black Death track and average wqas 50 FPS ..Thank You for your help,,

Hi there i have a slight problem: I've installed the VP modpack ( first the installation files, then the patch, and in addition the DCG compatibility files) after applying the SAS megapatch. The fact is that the menu has changed : there are new background images and... that's pretty much it. When launching a mission this is just like playing the stock game: old models and textures, same for sound. Even the Custom games menu is still the stock one ( With an ugly blue background in the planes preview window)
Any idea on what is wrong? Maybe the problem comes from the DCG patch as i still don't use it, I've jut installed it as I intend to install DCG
Or maybe moving the content of all the archives in the game folder overwritting any similar files was not the best idea...
A little help would be great !

Greetings! I've successfully installed the mod, plus patch. But I can't get the game to recognize the 360 controller I'm using while I wait for my x-52 to arrive. I've searched and can't seem to find any info on this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: Fixed it. All I had to do was go into USB Gamepad settings in windows and recalibrate. It's working now.
