I love Cliffs Blitz (TFS member myself) but i keep returning and returning to admire the outstanding job the guys are doing here. The VPmodpack is the best MOD collection you can find for 1946 (BAT is awesome as well, but VP is the finest).

Many thanks for your detailed support. Im working myself slowly trough. Just downloaded the 12  mega patch files. Is there an install guide for this too?

good morning vp

just tried with this install Manual. and there the files are beeing extracted to a IL-2_1946 Folder of the game. as i only have the IL-2 ultimate the Folder i called accordimgly. will this still work?

Are we talking about the megapatch install or the modpack?

Extract everything into your IL-2 ultimate the folder. Folder name does not matter.
I got everything in C:\Games\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946_v412.
Do not install games into Program Files (x86).
Run the game after the 4.12 megapatch install as a test.
After that install the vp_modpack.7z which comes in 16 parts. Extracting the first file into your game folder in enough, the rest is automatic.
Next steps is to delete the #SAS\00_Ju-188A-2_v1.1 folder and to install the vp_modpack_patch.7z.
Then edit your conf.ini and add the [Mods] section:

Curious- ( This may have already been asked 7 answered in the previous 169 pages , so forgive me in advance...)I have the full BAT install- is this compatable/ Does it add anything to what i already have? Thanks

Great stuff, mega patch is installed and the game starts now in version 4.12.2m, many thanks bringing me here :-)
Now i‘m working on the download.
Where do i habe to edit the conf.ini?
