Thanks for the explanation Geschirre, I thought about an FSX import but didn't want to throw guesswork around.
If you need a jet, the MB.339 from same source is available for quite a while now, and since two or three days it's on the MSFS marketplace as well.
Didn't know that there will be a T-45 for DCS as freeware... will be interesting to see how the VNAO freeware T-45 compares to the Indiafoxtecho payware one.

This has been my favorite in MSFS2020 so far, a WACO YMF!  Close to 20 years ago I flew in two YMFs and two UBFs as a passenger when I was working line service in my teens (I think they were using me as ballast in the front cockpit honestly, I barely weighed 120lbs/54kgs).
Unlike dumb ass youtube commentators (or teenage me). WACO is pronounced "wah-Co", not "way-Co", not like WACO, TX.  Weaver Aircraft Company, Troy Ohio.  I said WACO (like TX) during my first weekend working, when I was helping move some WACOs in the main hanger.  The CG-4 glider was the extent of my knowledge and only time I had read about WACOs.  I exclaimed "wow WAyCOs!" and was quickly, verbally, and explicitly corrected on the proper pronunciation by a group of old retired has-beens who restore WACOs.

Yep, the WACO YMF looks beautiful.
Initially I simply bought any addon for MSFS 2020 that money can buy, but I'll have to stop that now since the number of addons popping up every day now is simply overwhelming.
That being said, I'll put the YMF on hold for the time being, since as much as I love its shape, the plane is not exactly my primary kind of kite for FS 2020.
I think I'll resort to getting to learn to fly the basic set of GA aircraft "right" first, Cessna, Beechcraft and Co., which will keep me busy for the time being.

I simply couldn't resist to get me the Eagles.
Took the "C" for a few familiarisation sorties around EDHK, this has been the 3rd one...

Having some fun with the Sim Skunk Works Aeritalia-Fiat G-91:

To answer the most obvious question in advance: Yes, you can go supersonic with this thing. In a shallow dive that is...

Visiting the aliens

The insignia on top and bottom of both wings drives me crazy.  I've gone through the 8 layers of hell in MSFS2020 access folders to access the skins, but it's only one set of wings for all the base models.

"Serious" flightsim session yesterday:
1st UK Solo Cross Country flight, 1st leg: EGTR Elstree -> EGKB Biggin Hill.
Task for this leg: "Leave the popular Elstree airfield North of London and make your way around the capital, crossing the Thames at Dartford and making a stop over at Biggin Hill."

Flight Plan for the 1st leg EGTR - EGKB:

EGKB VFR Chart (C) Jeppesen

Leaving Elstree Aerodrome (EGTR), sharp right-hand turn towards 1st WP (Old Fold Manor Golf Club)

Crossing Banbury Reservoir, staying well below 2500ft (London TMA)

Having passed Sevenoaks, we soar into the setting sun for crossing Biggin Hill (EGKB) before joining the traffic pattern @2600ft.

EGKB 21 short final, power setting is spot on for the desired 3° approach, PAPI acknowledges ;)

My current favourite bada$$ bird for quick rides around certain areas I'm planning to revisit with GA aircraft later:
