Left side Truk Lagoon. South east of Truk lays Satawan, home of a japanese fighter airstrip during ww2!
Ponape Island next to the east had 2 Airfields and a Seaplane base!
Kusaie Island then, far east of Phonape, was not attacked directly during ww2, but around the island sunk the USN some japanese ships!
And finally Eniwetok with two airfields for the american side in the far far far north east!
Flying time from Eniwetok to Truk or Satawan around 3 hours!

I had the idea for this map before, but my computer wasn't made for it in terms of memory!
Now it works, i just has to do it now. . .

The islands and atolls are "il2 1:1" but i have shrunked the distance to each other!
The whole west side of the map lays in reality a few hundreds km more to the west!
The only Positions and distance what i have not changed to each other are Eniwetok to Kusaie island and some smaller atolls nearby!

The Pacific is really huge!!!

A very interesting area of ​​the Pacific Ocean for this map. If you reduce the size of the map, it is not critical. The main thing is that it is realistic.
By the way, airfields and ports for this map can be made with separate textures.
