I downloaded this over the weekend and because of it I have now realised my decade long ambition to mod IL2, so thank you everyone who made it possible. Sure it is a bit glitchy and I can't get the Lancaster DLL test to work, but the possibilities are almost endless, and I feel I have so much to explore.

One thing I was wondering, can I merge TGA and WAW (I have Blue Edge) so I can get to play around with planes from both eras in the same mission? I would love to do more with the Ba-27M and SCW planes for example, but with them flying in the same mission as later stuff.

No worries, I wasn't actually posting about the issue, just celebrating that after all these years it is finally working, I'm not actually that bothered by the Lancaster not working, and I am sure other people will have answered my other query

and by all means, get up to date with BAT 4.1.2. Maybe the newest dlls will help you (I am actually curious if they do)

I have DLed the latest patch and the Lancaster shows up as it should, excellent work. I know this isn't tech help but I hope I helped make a difference

1. That's the dll business for you, exactly.

2. Normal. The "cars" are planes and are displayed with "retracted gear"... you get the point? It's normal.
3. most likely there will always be some inconsistencies with thousands of planes vehicles and objects.  Only exact examples will be looked at.

There are no other supported .ini files other than those inside regular packs and updates.

Thank you kindly for the help! None of the missing planes are critical for me, so no biggie. One of these days I might document them if somebody wants me to. I just applied the 4.1.2 update too so will re-test. After all these years you guys are really keeping it alive and relevant; thanks!
