I think they should not cause CTD, though I can't guarantee these will be "used" by the system instead of existing class files and FM of late-model Corsair from previous mods.
But my gripe is with stock Hellcat (unnaturally sluggish), not Corsair (which is plenty hot enough). And I can guarantee you the new F6F FM works just fne.
Property.set(class1, "FlightModel", "FlightModels/F-6F-5-NEW.fmd:F4U-1NEW_FM");
The new fm won't work without the changed classes.
These two mods ( F6F-6 + F4U-1NEW_FM)  need to be put together.  :)

I have not tried the new FMs yet but I am curious if they will work...
Normally FM files comes with the FM ending and in BAT go into a dedicated folder...
So just to make that sure...the FlightModels folder in your fix need to stay together with the classfiles and these classfiles call up the various fmd files in the FlightModels folder?

It is not necessary to keep folders like "КЛАСИ" and "FlightModels" in fashion. These Source folders are for modders to view and use in other mods.
The important ones are hashes with numbers and a file named (F4U-1NEW_FM), in which virtual aircraft flight models are placed.
In the F4U-1NEW_FM mod, the hash number 12FD1410F9A95894 must be without a minus, this is the parent F4U.class.
The angles of deviation of the steering surfaces are inscribed in it.
This class should work in patches 4.12 - 4.14.
Both mods refer to the F4U-1NEW_FM file, which contains the F6F and F4U flight models and motors.

ah ok, that clarifies a few things...
just to let you know though, the file I was able to get from aviaskins is missing the classfile 1C6CD6... that is shown in your screenshot...

also, for the late model Corsairs, I found two rar files, one with a classfile and a new FM inside and an air.ini that also shows the AU-1, the other one a more complete set with a different air.ini, containing an U-6 and U-7 submodel, but no AU-1; that one is labelled V2 though...so which should is the correct one for the later Corsairs?

sorry for the maybe stupid questions, but those new submodel Corsairs look interesting; I also would like to keep the AU-1 though....

The picture shows how I have Corsairs and Helkets installed in patch 4.14.1.

Here on Google Drive I put all the files of my fixes for the Corsairs and Helkets.
Also, before the Helkets, which someone gave me, I don't remember who anymore.

A link to the new 3Before the Late Corsairs is in this post:

At the very top in a quote from Samurai999.
If something is not installed in the mods folder - please write, I will try to show and tell you again.

I will try the new Corsair and Hellcat FMs tomorrow and let you know how things go....
:)
Thanks for your continued support here!

EDIT: I tried the late Corsair FM first as I had the new 3d model Corsairs already implemented correctly into BAT and it was just a case of fitting in that one classfile and that new FM and what shall I say? The F4U-4 is a beast now from a first outing; she is easily capable of a lot over 350mph low down and climbs and maneuvers really well!
need to put in more testing time tomorrow, but from first looks, thats the way a -4 model should behave from what I gathered from pilot reports and talking to two actual -4 display pilots from a well known Austrian warbird operator...
great work Vasya!!! if the other Corsairs (and Hellcats) turn out halfway as nice, the Zeros can wet their pants in the virtual skies above the pacific...

ps.: I sent you a PM as I think discussing Corsairs and Hellcats is not appropriate in a A6M thread :D
