Another one of Monty's DBW campaigns fully converted to BAT compatibility 3.85 - 4.1 or BAT 4.0 "Red Core".

All planes checked and updated
All loadouts checked and updated
All Statics checked and replaced where necessary
All Objects checked

NOTE: Whatever I tried, the SBD ai will not dive bomb accurately. Instead of diving in a straight line, they twist and turn in the dive and invariably, the bombs will miss the target. I used other ai dive bombers in the missions, and they would behave normally and score hits. I also tried the SBD's in v4.10 and early v4.12, with the same results.
Monty set the missions as the human player to be No3 or 4 in the element, so as to avoid any "Rank not high enough" conflicts in the campaign, so you may be the only plane to score a hit on the target.

That is some video. I think the movie portrayed the attack as more dangerous than it was in reality. That flak volume was insane.

Agreed, the Japanese wish they had that much flack, but they never did.
Could you imagine actually flying through that, it would be hell. Even with normal flack my wing got shot off in my SB2C-5 bombing run.
I did survive in my Albacore when glide bombing.
