I apologize in advance if I hurt someone's feelings. But I have little experience with IL2 1946, and I am familiar with the world of users of this simulator, so I can comment on this situation based on my experience. We all know that it is already 2020, and the modern gaming industry can provide many alternatives, users are accustomed to installing in one click, not to mention installing each mod separately. Back in 19, I made the first repack of BAT, this allowed installing BAT in one click, and even then not many were in a hurry to install it.
One of the ways out of the situation is a list of mod authors, in the installer's welcome message, if, of course, this is so necessary.
On suolko, I know that most of the mods that are present in assemblies such as BAT exist on the site independently, and everyone can find it by name, and, if desired, thank the author.
I am also sure that the modders of Il21946, in no way should quarrel, this will not lead to anything good.
One thing I can say with certainty, thanks to such packs, and modding "old man", as we call him, is still alive.
Thanks to all the participants!
